Casa Terracota is 10 minutes by car from the Plaza Mayor of Villa de Leyva. There are several ways to get there.
By car: Starting from town, you must drive in the direction of Monquirá (Vereda Monquirá), along the paved road that leads to Santa Sofía. In the middle of the road–shortly after having left the colonial area–you will find a commercial complex called Colsubsidio. Passing Colsubsidio, make a right on the next entrance to what is an unpaved road. About 2 minutes later you will see Casa Terracota on the right. The entrance is between two walls made out of stone.
By foot: From the Plaza Mayor of Villa de Leyva, you must walk approximately 22 minutes (1.9 kilometers) in the direction of Monquirá (Vereda Monquirá), along the paved road that leads to Santa Sofía.
